Tiffany Chen

I fell in love with Radiation Oncology during my second year of medical school at UT Health San Antonio, and my interest in the field was solidified by multiple research projects and away rotations that I immersed myself in. My path to entering the field was long-winded, however, as I first completed an Internal Medicine residency at Mount Sinai Beth Israel in New York City from 2018-2021. During my IM residency, I did multiple rotations in Medical Oncology through the Mount Sinai system. When the COVID pandemic struck, I was heavily involved in the caring for patients during a time when treatment regimens and PPE protocols were initially uncertain. Upon completion of my IM residency, I moved back to my hometown in California and finally started my Radiation Oncology residency at Loma Linda University in 2021. I hope that with my varied background and experiences, I can better connect with and serve my patients as a Radiation Oncologist.
